The proliferation of precautionary labels has become a hot topic in the world of food allergy management.  Why are there so many labels?  Who do I trust?  What is the right approach?  Is it really a risk to consume this food just because it might contain a certain allergen?  These are just a few, of many, questions that consumers often ask.  This talk will focus on the key elements, including sanitation, that influence labeling practices within the food industry.
